I am finishing a computer science degree at Virginia Tech in December 2026, with minors in cybersecurity and mathematics. Most of what I know came from building things end to end and then finding out where they broke.

I like the part of engineering where a claim meets a measurement. A retrieval system is not good because the demo looked convincing, it is good because you held out a query set and counted. That habit shows up across everything here: every number on this site has its method written down, and the ones I could not reproduce were deleted rather than reworded.

Right now I am looking for a full-time software role starting after I graduate. I care most about working somewhere that ships and where I can see the thing I built actually being used.
